What in the world is a psychologist doing recommending a book with this title? I think I first read this book in the year or two after college…. Whenever I went to a bookstore to browse it ended up in my hand and I kept putting it back on the shelf and saying no, I don’t need to read a book about suicide. Well it’s NOT about suicide although it does start out that way. It gives a really beautiful perspective on depression and relationships and choices all wrapped into the unethical decision making of the treating physician. Remember this is the author who gave us The Alchemist, he won’t let you down.
